12-year-old’s eyes injured while lighting ‘flower pot’
BENGALURU:
At least 10 children were injured in Diwali-related fire cracker incidents on Saturday.
Despite the state government’s order allowing only green crackers, normal crackers were being widely used at many places in the city.
The injured children are being treated at Minto Hospital, Narayana Hospital and Netradham Hospital.
Four of the children have serious injuries, said hospital sources. A 12-year-old boy from Vijayananda Nagar suffered an eye injury from lighting a ‘flower pot’ and is being treated at Minto Hospital.
