Karnataka Industries Minister Nirani’s brainchild, the Oct 11 workshop will have successful entreprenuers among the speakers

BENGALURU:

Successful entrepreneurs will share their experience with students and budding entrepreneurs at the Bangalore Palace on Monday, October 11. The brainchild of Large and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani, the one-day entrepreneurship workshop is titled ‘Udyami Aagu, Udyoga Needu’ (‘Be an Entrepreneur, Become an Employer’). Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will inaugurate the workshop.

“The programme is aimed at attracting youths towards entrepreneurship and job creation. Our aim is to provide a platform for our youngsters to become successful entrepreneurs. We want them to be job-providers instead of job-seekers. They will get the opportunity to meet and interact with successful business leaders,” Nirani said on Sunday while addressing reporters after overseeing the arrangements at the venue.

The day-long workshop will provide a platform for those who have registered to interact with successful entrepreneurs. Bankers and senior government officials will provide guidance and assistance to budding entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs who will share their experience:

Gadhadar Reddy, CEO, NoPo Nanotechnologies India Private Limited: He will speak on sectoral opportunities in aerospace, defence and space in India.

Chaitanya Adapa, Head-Credit, Udaan Capital: Udaan is a B2B trade platform for manufacturers, traders, retailers, and wholesalers. He will speak on sectoral opportunities in e-commerce.

Vivekananda Hallekere, CEO, co-founder, Bounce: India’s first smart urban mobility solution. He will speak on sectoral opportunities in electrical vehicles and sustainable energy.

Geetha Manjunath, founder and CEO, Niramai Health Analytix: The company is developing a novel solution for detecting early stage breast cancer using machine learning. She will speak on sectoral opportunities in health and technology.

Madan Padaki, co-founder, Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship: He will share his journey as an entrepreneur.

Subramanya SV, co-founder and CEO, Fisdom: A fintech company that offers investment advisory services through an app. He will share insights on venture capital and angel investors.

Aprameya Radhakrishna, co-founder and CEO, Koo app: A social medial platform that enables Indians to express themselves in Indian languages. He will share his success story.

Nithin Kamath, founder and CEO, Zerodha: An Indian financial services company offering retail brokerage, currencies and commodities trading, mutual funds, and bonds. He will share his success story.

Grievance adalat

On October 12, a ‘Kaigarika Adalat will be held to help industrialists and other stakeholders resolve their grievances on the spot. Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi will take part in the programme.
