BENGALURU: A woman has filed a complaint against her husband, Yunis Pasha, at the Banashankari police station, alleging harassment and demands to indulge in sex with other men.
The complainant, Halima Sadiya, claims that her husband has been behaving like a psycho and has been forcing her into sexual relationships with politicians and his other associates.
She alleges that when she refused, he subjected her to physical abuse and pronounced triple talaq six times. She has also accused him of forcing her to abort their unborn baby. He threatened to intimidate her and her family members with a gun and a machete.
The woman also alleges that her father-in-law demands massages from her and has been harassing her for dowry.
As per the complaint, she has made a series of allegations against her husband, mother-in-law, and father-in-law, including domestic violence, criminal intimidation, attempt to murder, forced abortion, grievous hurt, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, illegal confinement, threats, criminal conspiracy, and causing her psychological and physiological trauma.
Now she has approached senior police officers seeking justice. A case has been registered against Yunis Pasha and his parents at the Banashankari police station.
Halima Sadiya said that they got married in 2021 and the torture started after four months, including by her mother-in-law and father-in-law. “He beat and hit my stomach during the sixth month of my pregnancy and I had to undergo an abortion. They also threatened me not to say anything to my parents”, she said.
She alleged that her husband is also involved in prostitution and women trafficking. “I have seen his chats as well. They were also planning to sell me somewhere. I bore their torture for four years, but now, I can not tolerate them anymore, let them face the law”, she said.
