Andriy Tara says visit to ISKCON temple was ‘very exciting’
Ukrainian defence minister Andriy Tara was bowled over by the work being done by ISKCON in Bengaluru during a visit to the ISKCON temple here along with other Ukrainian delegates on Monday. The Ukrainian team is in the city to participate in Aero India 2021.
The Ukrainian team also visited the kitchen facility of the Akshaya Patra Foundation in the temple premises and were impressed by the fact that 1.8 million meals are prepared everyday.
Following the visit, the Ukrainian leader told Sri Vasudev Kesava Dasa, Vice-President, ISKCON Bengaluru temple, that his visit had been “very exciting and very interesting. I have never been to a temple like this before.”
