TUMAKURU:
The Forest Officers of Kunigal Zone have successfully apprehended four individuals for the unlawful killing of eight bats for meat in Kadaramanahalli, located in the Kunigal taluk.
The suspects, namely Ranganath, Ramakrishna, Shivashankar, and Ranganath, hailing from Hombalamma town in Magadi taluk, have been taken into custody. These individuals were found guilty of slaughtering eight bats, which were perched on a tree in the Kadaramanahalli area.
Prompted by credible information, Forest Officer Jagadish, along with his team from Huliyurdurga Zone, swiftly responded to the scene. They successfully confiscated the deceased bats and proceeded to file a case against the accused parties.
