Tragedy in Dharwad: Twin Toddlers Drown in Lake While Playing Near Home

A tragic incident occurred in Yari Narayanpur village of Kundagol taluk, Dharwad district, where three-year-old twin brothers accidentally drowned in a lake adjacent to their home.
The victims have been identified as Mudassir and Muzammil. According to preliminary reports, the toddlers were playing near the lake when they accidentally slipped and fell into the water. Despite efforts by locals and family members, the children could not be rescued in time.
The grieving parents are in a state of shock following the loss of their young sons. Officers from the Kundagol Police Station visited the spot and have initiated a formal investigation into the incident.
This heartbreaking case has once again highlighted the dangers of unsecured water bodies near residential areas, especially where children are present.
