They can’t wait to thank service staff!

Ahead of the PM’s call for clapping and chiming utensils at 5 pm on Sunday to thank selfless service staff in a time of coronavirus, some enthusiastic citizens are already in dress rehearsal mode.

On Saturday, several residents of Sterling Terrace Apartments on 100 Feet Ring Road in Banashankari 3rd Stage, which has 283 flats, had a ‘practice session’, standing in their balconies clapping, chiming utensils and voicing their thanks to service staffers.

Local resident and cine artist Prashanth Sambargi said, “As a nation we should all come together to thank the emergency service workers for working through the novel coronavirus outbreak.”
