Only fully vaccinated persons allowed at swimming pools: Karnataka order

BENGALURU:

Apartment residents finally have something to cheer about as the state government has allowed the reopening of swimming pools in these complexes.

The decision to reopen swimming pools, not only in apartment complexes but also at various centres, was taken on the recommendation of the Technical Advisory Committee after it noted a substantial decline in Covid-19 cases, the test positivity rate, and active cases.

All pools covered: Tushar Giri Nath

Speaking to TheBengaluruLive, Karnataka’s Disaster Management Executive Committee Secretary and Revenue Department Principal Secretary Tushar Giri Nath said the swimming pools’ reopening order applies to both apartments and private swimming pools.
