Spraying, cleaning at ‘suspect’ building
BENGALURU:
After Karnataka health department doctors created Covid-19 related awareness amongst the residents of ‘Jain Heights’ Apartment in Kaikondrahalli, BBMP staff on Wednesday conducted intensive cleaning operations there.
BBMP solid waste management Special Commissioner D Randeep, who is also Special Commissioner for Mahadevapura zone, under which the building comes, tweeted: “Intensive spraying and cleaning activities taken up by BBMP in Jain Heights Apartment and surrounding areas of Kaikondrahalli in Mahadevapura zone.”
The tweet got some concerned responses from residents of Whitefield. Twitter handle @wf_watcher said: “Sir, entire staff doing that job should be given proper masks. Somehow, you should procure them and arrange. Genuine request.”
