The importance of social distancing in a time of coronavirus has still not been understood by people, more so outside urban centres.
On Wednesday at Chamarajanagar, women crowded round an ATM to withdraw money from their ‘Jan Dhan’ accounts, throwing safety to the winds.
The Chamarajanagar local administration has marked out well-spaced spots for ATM customers to queue up before withdrawing cash. But the photo shows account-holders were least bothered.
