Hubballi-Bengaluru 07339/07340 super fast train reinstated
Bengaluru: The October 31 departure of Train No. 12864 SMVT Bengaluru–Howrah Express has been cancelled because of heavy waterlogging between Ichchapuram and Jhadupudi in the Visakhapatnam Division, South Western Railway announced in its latest October 29 update.
The notice also cancels the October 29 Howrah–SMVT Bengaluru service and the Shalimar–Mangaluru Central service, replacing earlier advice that these trains would be diverted or rescheduled.
Six train departures cancelled
- October 29: 18047 Shalimar–Vasco Da Gama Express; 12863 Howrah–SMVT Bengaluru Express; 22851 Shalimar–Mangaluru Central Express.
- October 31: 12864 SMVT Bengaluru–Howrah Express; 22852 Mangaluru Central–Shalimar Express.
- November 1: 18048 Vasco Da Gama–Shalimar Express.
South Western Railway clarified that trains 12863 and 22851 are now fully cancelled, superseding the diversion or rescheduling advice issued earlier on October 29.
The dates refer to the scheduled departures of the listed train services. Passengers on these departures should use the latest cancellation notice rather than the earlier diversion or revised departure-time advice.
