Bengaluru:
Munnekolala shootout accused was found injured on Wednesday wee hours near Marathahalli on Outer Ring Road.
The accused has been identified as Amarendra Pattanaik, 33. Cops have found 17 page note from him.
According to the cops, the accused was found grievously injured around 2.30am and in an unconscious state near Marathahalli Bridge on Outer Ring Road. He has been admitted to Sakra hospital and is in critical condition.
According to doctors who are treating him have found accident related injuries. “He has accident related injuries. As well as self inflicted injuries to the neck,” an officer said.
At the Scene of crime, a notebook was found which has 17 pages of hand written notes by the accused. The last page of the notebook reads like a death note and indicates his last wish.
Therefore, prima facie it looks like he may have attempted to commit suicide after shooting Priyadarshini.
Furher investigation is being done to ascertain what exactly happened and the motive for the crime.
