Sec 144 imposed in Padarayanapura

BENGALURU:

Following breach of Lockdown norms in the containment zone, Padarayanapura, Bangalore City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao has imposed section 144 in JJ Nagar police station limits.

Soon after corporator Imran Pasha allegedly participated in a procession undertaken by his followers, violating both lockdown restrictions and social distancing guidelines — cops arrested him and imposed section 144 for the next five days with immediate effect.

“The entire area is completely sealed down. Everyone was chased out in the streets. Two KSRP and Garuda squads have been deployed at the spot,” said a police officer.
