Crucial meet Today on restarting schools
BENGALURU:
After dithering for weeks over the issue of reopening schools in Karnataka, the state government has convened a crucial meeting on Tuesday with stakeholders and officials concerned over whether/when the schools can restart.
The meeting, scheduled for Monday, was postponed due to technical glitches in internet connectivity that were noticed during a virtual meeting chaired by Education Commissioner Anbu Kumar.
DDPIs from various districts will participate remotely in Tuesday’s meeting, a source said.
The Department of Education has already obtained feedback from state legislators and MPs on restarting schools and the Covid-related guidelines to be put in place.
