Retired DG-IGP Om Prakash Murder: Wife Confesses, Says G. Parameshwara

BENGALURU: The investigation into the murder of retired DG-IGP Om Prakash is ongoing, with the main suspect, his wife Pallavi, confessing to the crime, according to Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara.

During a press conference in Bengaluru on Tuesday, Parameshwara stated that the CCB investigation has uncovered crucial details about the murder. Pallavi has been arrested in connection with the crime and has admitted her involvement.

When asked about potential evidence from mobile phones, Parameshwara stated that he was not aware of any such information. He assured that all aspects of the case would be thoroughly examined during the investigation.

Following the murder of retired Director General of Police Om Prakash, the HSR Layout police station intensified their efforts and arrested Pallavi (64) after she confessed during questioning. At this time, Pallavi’s daughter Kriti has been released as there is no evidence linking her to the murder.
