The Lok Ayukta’s inquiry related to the Anwar Manipadi report on misuse of waqf property will be tabled in the next assembly session.
At a review meeting of the Minority Welfare Department, the state Waqf Board and the Textile Department at his home office ‘Krishna’ on Wednesday, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said the cabinet had agreed to present the interim report submitted by the Lokayukta in the assembly.

He said no information had been received from Saudi Arabia about this year’s haj due to the pandemic situation. The CM said the families of three weavers who committed suicide in May had received Rs 2 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Ministers Sreemanth Patil and Prabhu Chauhan, Chief Secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar, Minority Welfare Department Commissioner AB Ibrahim and MSME Department Principal Secretary M Maheshwara Rao were present.
