BENGALURU:

Popular Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar (46) died following a heart attack on Friday morning. He was declared dead at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru, where he had been admitted following the cardiac arrest.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced the news of the actor’s demise at a press briefing later on Friday.

Puneeth Rajkumar was admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest pains at 11.30 am on Friday morning.
