BENGALURU:
Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists on Saturday demonstrated against BBMP?s decision to ban protests in front of the Town Hall.
BBMP has justified its decision, saying it owns Town Hall and rents it out for various events, but due to frequent protests there the civic body is not able to mobilize revenues; hence the ban.
Vedike president Narayan Gowda and women’s unit chairperson Ashwini Gowda led the protest in front of the BBMP Council building.
