Thousands, including CM, attend wedding
Belagavi:
Despite the state government instructions to restrict wedding receptions to 100 attendees, thousands of persons, including Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and his cabinet colleagues, attended a marriage ceremony in Belagavi.
Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai too attended the marriage ceremony of chief whip in the Legislative Council Mahantesh Kavatgimath’s daughter Dr Pooja at Shagun Gardens.
When reporters questioned CM, he said that the government has taken all precautionary steps to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the state.
