Another police station in the city has been sealed after a person in the lock-up tested Covid-19 positive. Around 24 policemen, including 4 SIs, are now in home quarantine.
The Jeevan Bhima Nagar police station’s work has been transferred to the Indiranagar police station.
A few days ago, a delivery boy was arrested for allegedly molesting a woman. On June 2, he and two others in police custody were tested for the virus. On Friday, the reports came positive for the delivery boy and negative for the other two.
Last month, the Pulakeshi Nagar traffic police station was cordoned off after a traffic cop tested positive.
