Police cover for riot-hit MLA
Srinivas Murthy and family currently in hotel
BENGALURU:
The state government has provided police security to legislator Akhanda Srinivas Murthy and his family, following Tuesday’s riots in which his house at Kaval Byrasandra was vandalised and burnt down by a mob from a minority community.
The Pulakeshinagar Congress MLA and his family are currently staying in a hotel.
KSRP deployed
Meanwhile, the DJ Halli police station is on high alert, and a contingent of 50 KSRP personnel has been deployed around KG Halli and DJ Halli.
