PM Modi Becomes India’s Second-Longest Serving Prime Minister; BJP’s BY Vijayendra Hails His Leadership
Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now become India’s second-longest serving Prime Minister, surpassing 4,078 days in office — a milestone second only to Jawaharlal Nehru. Marking this significant political achievement, Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra extended his heartfelt congratulations to PM Modi on behalf of the people of Karnataka and the country.
Addressing reporters at the BJP state office in Bengaluru, Vijayendra said, “This is a proud moment for the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led India with vision, discipline and dedication. He is not merely a political leader but a true servant of the people.”
Vijayendra emphasised that Modi has governed without imposing Emergency, or relying on sympathy-based politics, and has instead earned public trust through consistent development, transparency, and unwavering national commitment.
“Even after assuming office for the third consecutive term, PM Modi has not resorted to populism or shortcuts. He continues to lead the nation with a focus on honest governance, progress, and inclusive growth. That is the mark of a true leader,” Vijayendra said.
He expressed confidence that Modi would continue to strengthen the nation and take it forward on the path of stability, security, and global leadership.
