BENGALURU:
Under the Agnipath Scheme approved by the Government of India on 14 Jun 2022 for recruitment of soldiers into the three services of the Armed Forces, 113 Agniveers were trained at ASC Centre (North).
Amy Service Corps Centre (North) is a premier institute imparting training to Animal and Store handlers/ Mechanical Transport Drivers and various tradesmen to support all Army Service Corps units for the complete Indian Army The training of first batch of Agniveer’s commenced from 01 Jan 2023, out of which 85 Agniveers (MT) passed out from the Centre on 05 Aug 2023,

He also in his speech urged the young soldiers to imbibe soldierly ethos of Imandan, Wafadar and Bahadun. The magnificent ceremony was attended by proud parents of Agniveers. All the parents were honoured with the prestigious Gaurav Padak instituted by the Indian Army as a token of recognition of their noble gesture of encouraging their ward to join the countless braves of the Indian Army in service of the nation.
