SHIVAMOGGA:

Tension gripped the Shivamogga railway station on Sunday when two abandoned boxes were discovered in the parking lot, sparking widespread panic among the public.

Upon learning about the abandoned boxes, the police and canine squad swiftly arrived at the scene to conduct thorough investigations. Barricades were promptly set up around the area where the box was found, preventing the public from approaching it.

To ensure maximum safety, sandbags were strategically placed around the box, and a bomb disposal unit was dispatched from Bengaluru, expected to arrive in Shivamogga by evening. The box will only be opened once the bomb disposal team is present.

The entire incident, including the mysterious arrival of these boxes in a car and their subsequent unloading, was captured on CCTV cameras. The police are currently reviewing the footage to gather more information.
