Manipal Hospital East in Malleswaram leads with 215 vaccinations; In two days 3554 have been vaccinated
BENGALURU:
On Tuesday, despite Karnataka’s Agriculture Minister BC Patil creating controversy by taking Covid19 vaccination at his residence, around 2616 Bengalureans took the vaccination who are in the age group of 60 and above.
Around 278 people have also taken vaccination who are 45-plus (with comorbidities) age groups.
In the first two days, around 3554 Bengalureans have taken the first dose of vaccination, BBMP commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad said.
As per data shared by him, Manipal Hospital East near Malleswaram has reported highest number 215 vaccination to senior citizens while Rainbow Hospital in Bommanhalli haven’t witnessed a single vaccination on day 2, the Rainbow hospital is part of designated hospital to vaccinate people in the third phase.
