Bengaluru:
An Odisha based women was shot on Tuesday evening. The victim is undergoing treatment while cops have formed two teams the nab accused who is known to her.
According to the cops, the incident took place around 6pm, in Marathahalli Police station limits where one lady (identity not revealed on request made by cops) was shot at using a country made pistol and injured grievously.
The accused is known to the victim (identity not revealed as investigation is under way). Incident occurred in front of the Ladies PG, Manjunath Layout, Munnekolala, where the victim was residing.
As per the cops the accused has shot her once using a 7.65mm country made pistol. The victim is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
Accused is currently absconding. Two crime teams have been formed to nab him, sleuth added.
The victim is 25 years old and is unmarried. She is working in NIMHANS. She is in Bengaluru from last 2 years. As per cops, she is not in position to talk.
