Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, asserted on Tuesday that there is no proposal to establish a new police district in Uri of Jammu and Kashmir. This clarification came in response to a query from Baramulla MP Abdul Rashid Sheikh during the Lok Sabha session.
