No mass till March 31: Archbishop

BENGALURU:

In a directive to members of the Catholic community in Bengaluru, Archbishop Peter Machado has urged the community to take the government?s precautionary advice on Covid-19 seriously.

Among other things, the directive says: “I hereby exempt the faithful from the obligation of participating in the liturgical services in the churches, mission stations and mass centres on Sundays and Days of Obligation till March 31.”

It adds: “The Archdiocesan Communications Centre (ACC) has made arrangements for the live-streaming of the daily and Sunday Mass.”
