Bengaluru: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced that the annual metro fare revision scheduled to come into effect from February 9, 2026, has been put on hold until further orders.
In an official media release, BMRCL clarified that the earlier notification issued on February 5, 2026, regarding the implementation of the Annual Fare Revision, will not be enforced at present.
The corporation stated that a final decision on the revised fare structure will be communicated after a review by the BMRCL Board.
Reiterating its commitment to commuters, BMRCL said it remains focused on providing safe, reliable, and affordable metro services to the citizens of Bengaluru.
