BENGALURU:
A massive fire accident occurred near Marathahalli Bridge at midnight, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The incident took place at the Louis Philippe clothes store, where a significant amount of clothing was tragically burnt. However, amidst the chaos, four individuals managed to escape unharmed, their harrowing experience leaving them with a story to tell.
Unfortunately, one firefighter sustained injuries while battling the fierce flames. The fire engulfed the Louis Philippe clothing showroom, reducing it to ashes. Adding to the devastation, three or four shops in the adjacent building also caught fire, causing the flames to rapidly spread to three neighboring buildings. The sight of the inferno left motorists in shock, as they witnessed the destructive force firsthand. As the fire reached the main road, it even managed to ignite a coconut tree and a transformer, exacerbating the damage.
The cause of the fire that consumed the three-storey building remains a mystery. Suspicion falls on a transformer located next to the shop, as it is believed to have sparked the flames. Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit from the electrical board may have triggered the fire at the Louis Philippe clothing store.
This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the devastating power of fire and the importance of fire safety measures. It is crucial for businesses and individuals alike to prioritize safety protocols to prevent such catastrophic events from occurring in the future, said an officer.
