In a major setback to one of the biggest developer of Bengaluru City — Mantri Developers — the Mantri Square Mall is all set to be surveyed by the government functionaries.
One of the major shopping hub of town will be resurveyed today, Friday at around 10.30am. The survey and resettlement department decided to conduct the work after BBMP’s assets wing wrote a letter on February 26.
The shocking revolution had come after Regional Commissioner, who earlier this month had ruled out that the land on which Mantri Square Mall and Mantri Green Apartment’s are standing belongs to them and had directed BBMP to take position of the land.
Interestingly the land is already being developed by the developer and the Mall and residential complex has come up which is been utilised by thousands of people.
As per the sources the land was originally belonging to Raja Mill which was earmarked for industrial purpose at Hanumantpura village — 3.31 acres in survey number 56 and 37 guntas of Jakkarayanakere.
