Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi, who is also Minister for Transport onSaturday said that the State owned KSRTC is facing severe finance problems and it needs Rs 325 Crore months to run the organisation which has over one lakh employees.
Speaking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said that due to Covid-19 pandemic and due to poor patronage, payment of salaries were delayed.
He said that he has already sent a proposal to the Finance Department. “I will meet Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa shortly and discuss with him about steps to be taken to make payment of salary pending to the employees”.
