Keregodu Flag Controversy: BJP Protest in Bengaluru, Several Arrested
BENGALURU:
A massive protest took place today in Bengaluru, organized by the BJP, against the hoisting of the Kesari (Saffron) flag in Keregodu, Mandya district. The protest took place near the Mysore Bank Circle, and at the same time, the protesters were taken into custody by the police.
Chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” “Hanuman Ki Jai,” and slogans denouncing the anti-Hindu government were heard during the protest.
MLA C.K. Ramamurthy, the South District President of Bengaluru, S. Harish, the North District President of Bengaluru, Saptagiri Gouda, the Central District President of Bengaluru, member of the Legislative Council Dr. Tejaswini Gouda, former legislators, former municipal council members, leaders, and activists participated in the protest.
