Karnataka tests single-day high of 12,229 samples
BENGALURU:
In a first of sorts, Karnataka tested a record 12,229 swab samples on Friday.
A total of 1,86,526 samples have been tested so far, of which 12,229 were on Friday alone, with 1,83,088 and 11,604 coming negative respectively.
Stating that 8 international flights have come to Bengaluru so far carrying 1,035 passengers, Covid-19 spokesperson S Suresh Kumar said, “Swab samples of all the returnees have been collected. Of them, one was positive with 325 primary contacts.”
