Bengaluru: Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge met the GITEX team to review preparations for GITEX AI India 2027, scheduled for June 2–4, 2027, at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre. Kharge said it would be the event’s first edition in India.
The Karnataka government is a strategic partner through its IT and BT department, Kharge said. The event is expected to bring together technology companies, startups, investors and policymakers.

AI, chips and cybersecurity on the agenda
Kharge listed artificial intelligence, semiconductors, cybersecurity and deep tech among the areas the event would cover. He said the event could help Karnataka startups and technology companies attract investment, reach new markets and find international partners.
