BENGALURU:
Soon after making the announcement of the withdrawal of statewide weekend curfew, a total of 48,049 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported in Karnataka, of which 29,068 cases were reported in Bengaluru alone.

This takes the state’s positivity rate to 19.23%, tweeted Karnataka’s Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr K Sudhakar.

Karnataka’s Active cases rose to 3.23 Lakh
In the last 24 hours, 22 people have died due to Covid in the state while Bengaluru has reported six of these fatalities.

Karnataka also reported 18,115 discharges on Friday, taking the state’s active cases count to 3,23,143 out of which Bengaluru has around 2.23 lakh active cases.
