Karnataka Rajyotsava | Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Extends Wishes

Date:

BENGALURU:

The esteemed dignitaries of the state, including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, have taken to social media to extend their heartfelt wishes to the people of Karnataka. Today, the state commemorates the golden celebration, marking the 50th anniversary of its renaming as Karnataka.

The yellow-red flag, symbolizing the essence and identity of Kannadigas, will proudly flutter across the state today, while the melodious tunes of Kannada Dindima will resonate in every corner.

CM Siddaramaiah expressed, “Congratulations to all our beloved Nada Bandhavas on this auspicious occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava. Today holds a special significance for Kannadigas, as it is a sacred day that unites Kannadigas, who were once scattered across different provinces, through the thread of Kannada. Let us all pay homage to the tireless efforts, sacrifices, and dedication of millions of Kannada enthusiasts who selflessly worked towards realizing this Kannada dream.”

On November 1, 1973, our state was officially renamed as Karnataka, and today, we celebrate its 50th anniversary. On this momentous occasion of Karnataka’s Golden Jubilee, I fervently hope that Kannada not only remains the vernacular but also becomes the language spoken in every household across the nation. May this day be a daily celebration for all Kannadigas. Once again, I extend my warm wishes to all of you on this joyous Kannada Rajyotsava.”
