Beneficiaries will be Karnataka University, Dharwad, and Maharani Cluster University
In order to facilitate improvement in the quality of higher education, MoUs were signed on Wednesday between the Karnataka State Higher Education Council and Pennsylvania Global and Education HUB, Harrisburg University S&T. Karnataka University, Dharwad and Maharani Cluster University will be benefitted by this agreement.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, who also holds the Higher Education portfolio, said, “The new National Education Policy (NEP) focuses more on the academic quality of the teaching fraternity, and the MoUs which are being signed will contribute in improving the academic skills of the teaching staff.”
Dr Peter Garland, Executive Vice-Chancellor, Emeritus, Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) and Chair, Penn HUB Advisory Board, said, “The MoUs will help to share the academic excellences between the universities.”

Gov. of Pennsylvania, and Hon. Envoy Kanika Choudhary, Pennsylvania State, were present.
