Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot Hospitalized with Fever and Back Pain, CM Siddaramaiah Visits Manipal Hospital

Governor Gehlot admitted to Manipal Hospital for observation; CM Siddaramaiah wishes him a speedy recovery — discharge expected by Friday.

Bengaluru: Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has been hospitalized after developing a high fever and back pain, Raj Bhavan sources confirmed on Thursday.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited Manipal Hospital today to inquire about the Governor’s health condition and wished him a speedy recovery.

“The Governor was admitted to the hospital on Monday for observation. Doctors have said he is recovering well and is likely to be discharged by Friday,” a senior Raj Bhavan official told thebengalurulive.com.

According to officials, Gehlot recently returned from Madhya Pradesh, his home state, after attending a series of public events.
