Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the people of Karnataka on the state’s Foundation Day (Karnataka Rajyotsava) and said Karnataka is moving steadily towards excellence.
Karnataka state was formed on November 1, 1956, following the reorganization of states. The state is celebrating its 68th Foundation Day on Wednesday.
On this Kannada Rajyotsava, we celebrate the spirit of Karnataka – a cradle of ancient innovation and modern enterprise. Its people, a blend of warmth and wisdom, fuel the state's relentless march towards greatness. May Karnataka continue to thrive, innovate and inspire.
