Kannada film actor Darshan being questioned in a murder case
BENGALURU: Popular Kannada film star Darshan is currently facing trial in a murder case, rather than being arrested.
The Bengaluru police apprehended Darshan at a farmhouse in Mysore in relation to the tragic death of Renuka Swamy, a resident of Chitradurga in the Kamakshipaliya station in Bengaluru.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda has confirmed that the authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the involvement of Kannada film stars in this unfortunate incident.
“A Kannada film actor is being questioned in a murder case,” he said on Tuesday morning during his media briefing.
