Karnataka Guv Gehlot administers oath of office to new CJ
BENGALURU:
Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi was sworn in as Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court on Monday.
At a simple ceremony held in the Glass House of Raj Bhavan, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered the oath of office to the new Karnataka CJ.

The swearing-in was attended by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Ministers Govind M Karjol and BC Patil, former Chief Minister and Opposition leader Siddaramaiah, Chief Secretary P Ravikumar and senior officials of the Karnataka High Court.
