Inter-state robbers arrested in Belagavi
BELAGAVI:
Belagavi city police arrested two inter-state robbers and recovered ornaments worth Rs 28.08 lakh from their possession, the police said on Monday.
According to Deputy Police Commissioner C R Neelgar (Crime &Traffic), the culprits used modern technology in planning their action.
They were identified as Prashant K Karoshi (35) and Avinash S Adavkar (28), belongs to Kolhapur District, Maharashtra, police said.
The duo used google mapping and identify the houses and later recheck physically before breaking the house, police said.
The police have recovered golden ornaments worth Rs 28.08 lakh and a four wheeler worth Rs 11.50 lakhs, used for committing the crime, the DCP said.
Further investigations are under progress, police said. (Agency)
