Bengaluru, May 21, (Karnataka News) – Indian Foreign Service officials from various embassies, including those in Israel, Tel Aviv, Beijing, Kuwait, and Bogotá, convened today with the Chief Secretary of Karnataka, Dr. Shalini Rajneesh. The delegation included Dr. Gautam Kumar Pandey, Ajit John Joshua from the Bengaluru Regional Passport Office, Manas Raj Patel from Kuwait, and Dr. Vineet Kumar from Bogotá.
During the meeting, Dr. Rajneesh highlighted the potential for exporting local products such as coffee, sandalwood, forest products, and handicrafts from Karnataka. She expressed optimism that these unique offerings could find a more substantial market abroad. The officials echoed her sentiments, emphasizing that enhancing the visibility and accessibility of Karnataka’s local products in international markets could lead to significant economic benefits for the state.
