Land acquisition officer accused of receiving Rs 4 crore from IMA boss
BENGALURU:
A day after former Congress minister R Roshan Baig was arrested, the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Bangalore Development Authority’s special land acquisition officer PD Kumar on Monday.
It is alleged that Kumar received Rs 3-4 crore from Mansoor Khan, promoter of I-Monetary Advisory (IMA). The money was allegedly invested in real estate, said an investigating officer.
Kumar was produced before the CBI special judge and was remanded to CBI custody for the next three days.
