New Karnataka Secretaries will be on super-time pay scale

BENGALURU:

Five 2006 batch Karnataka cadre IAS officers have been promoted to the super-time scale from January 1, 2022, as per a government order issued on Friday.

The officers are Gurneet Tej, Manoz Jain, D Randeep, Salma K Fahim and Dr GC Prakash. All five will be on the pay scale of level 14 in the pay matrix.

Gurneet is on study leave while Manoz Jain, who is currently working as Special Commissioner (Projects) in BBMP will continue in the same post until further orders.

Similarly, in D Randeep, who is currently Commissioner (Health and Family Welfare), will continue in the same post while Salma K Fahim, who was working as Additional Secretary (Infrastructure Development), will take over as Secretary (Infrastructure Development) on January 1, 2022, relieving another IAS officer, BH Anil Kumar.

The order also states that Dr GC Prakash, who is currently working as Regional Commissioner, Mysuru division in Mysuru, will continue in the same post.
