BENGALURU:

The Karnataka government on Friday promoted 3 Secretary- rank IAS officers to the rank of Principal Secretary in the higher administrative grade with effect from January 1, 2022.

The 1997-batch IAS officers are Dr S Selva Kumar, Harsh Gupta and Amlan Aditya Biswas.

Selva Kumar, who was working as Secretary to the Department of Education (Primary and Secondary) will continue to work as Principal Secretary in the same post, while Harsh Gupta who was appointed as Special Officer and Competent Authority in the IMA case, has been asked to continue in the same post until further orders.

Meanwhile, Amlan Aditya Biswas will continue as Regional Commissioner, Belagavi.
