BENGALURU:
The state government on Monday posted former Bengaluru Rural Deputy Commissioner, IAS officer Srinivas K, as Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner.
Srinivas was transferred recently and was awaiting another posting. The state government had appointed IAS officer Sangappa as Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner after IAS officer J Manjunath was arrested recently in a bribery case by the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
“Shri Srinivas K, IAS (KN:2012), waiting for posting, is posted with immediate effect and until further orders as Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru Urban District, relieving Shri Sangappa, IAS, from concurrent charge,” an order issued by DPAR reads.
