Higher Education Minister launches ‘GetCETgo 2022’

Buoyed by the overwhelming response in the previous two years, Dr.C.N.Ashwath Narayan, Minister for Higher Education dedicated the GetCETgo 2022 platform to the service of aspirant students of professional courses on Wednesday. This has the objective of offering high-quality online crash courses for students in Karnataka who are aiming to crack the Engineering and Medical entrance exams of JEE, NEET, and KCET 2022 at free of cost.

As a progressive and technology-enabled government, Karnataka Government launched the GetCETGo platform in 2020, a first-of-its-kind initiative launched by any state government in the country. By taking into account the huge response of 3.5 lakh logins witnessed by this in the last two years the initiative is being launched for the third year in a row, he said.

The online learning platform enabled by the GoK in collaboration with Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and Department of Collegiate & Technical Education (DCTE) delivers test preparation on par with the best coaching institutions through a complete set of learning aids. This includes revision material (videos and PPT synopsis), practice questions, chapter-wise tests, and mock tests. The GetCETgo platform is available for free as a web portal and an app on the Google Playstore, Narayan explained.

The 3rd edition of GetCETgo which has been updated and improved includes the features of (1) GetCETgo online platform powered by eDUCATOR – an assisted LMS platform by a leading EdTech company, DigiLearn, also available on Android (2) Preparation material for JEE, NEET, and KCET 2022 (3)Mock tests in the respective exam formats (4) Doubt clarification (5) 12/7 Customer support – 09:30am – 06:30pm every day (login & tech back-end support)

Saying, the talks are on with regard to introducing the crash course from PUC First year itself starting next year, Minister wished that a significant number of Engineering and Medical aspirants from Karnataka make it to premier institutions in the country by benefitting from this platform.

The effectiveness of the GetCETGo platform has been attributed to the high-quality test prep content, structured learning through an easy-to-use LMS, and focus on providing a real test-like experience supported with rigorous analytics on student performance to help with deliberate learning, P.Pradeep, Commissioner, DCTE, told.

Students who want to take up JEE, NEET, and KCET can log on to www.getcetgo.in and download the GetCETgo app from the Google Playstore. GetCETgo platform will be active till the day the respective exams are conducted on.
