Gruha Jyothi Scheme Registrations cross 51 lakh
BENGALURU:
Registrations for the flagship scheme of the Government of Karnataka, Gruha Jyothi, crossed a landmark, 51 lakhs today, since the rollout. With the registration process made simple and swift, a total of 51,17,692 consumers have registered for the scheme, as on 25 June 2023.
Consumers can register without any fee, at any electricity office, Nadakacheri or from their own computer/laptop/desktop/mobile by visiting the Seva Sindhu portal https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in. Consumers are hereby requested not to fall prey to any other fake/illegal websites.

Also, for registration at Bengaluru One, Karnataka One, Grama One and Grama Panchayath, one has to pay a specified service charge only. For any illegal demand for extra money, consumers may intimate 24×7 helpline 1912.
Further, to ensure ease of registration, the E-Governance department has provided separate registration link for 2000 electricity offices in the state and this initiative has garnered an overwhelming response from the public. The overall ESCOM-wise registration details are as follows:
